Sevier-Farb Residence

Sevier, a professional engineer, first got his start in 2001 working with energy-efficient construction by building a three-bedroom home himself and learning about all the systems and techniques that go into a home. He has since performed calculations and created designs to improve energy efficiency of houses for the Building America program, and has been involved in several Zero Energy Home projects across the US.  With this background, he evaluated their energy consumption and has designed and built the house around reaching ZEH status.  He is currently working as a designer and specifier of solar thermal and solar electric systems, many of which are part of Zero Energy projects.
